It’s been a while since I introduced The New Game: Ask DaaS - Dialogue as a Service. Since my posts are automatically paywalled a week after publication, I’m simply bringing the game back to the top of the pile.
Reminders
To play the game, simply ask me anything by replying to this post. I will respond to the question in the next post, usually within a week.
The Old Game
In the old game, I published posts based on my best sense of what matters beyond my Audience of One — or, what matters to the Audience of at Least One Other. I still play the old game, but it requires a lot of guessing, and it consumes a lot of energy.
The New Game
In the new game, I publish posts in response to questions and comments from readers. Instead of guessing what my readers want to read, I invite them to tell me in their own words.
Across my public and private Substacks, I've now published about 200 posts, and I welcome reader comments inspired by what I've already “stacked”. However, what I've written and published should not constrain the range of questions and comments. Use my posts here and on my other publication if it helps you to have something to react to. Otherwise, just ask me anything.
This way, I can assure my subscribers that the next email they see from me will address a question that matters not only to me, but also to at least one other human being.
If I receive no comments, I might publish nothing — or worse, I might publish something about nothing.
Before We Begin
In many types of games, the rules are not — and cannot be — spelled out exhaustively. For this game, I don't feel the need to add anything to the rules I covered in my Fine Print:
I intend to publish my updated Fine Print on 9/25/2024. In the meantime, email me with any questions at daasnow@proton.me.

Let's Play!
To get started, you can post a question or comment about anything.
It just ‘ignores’.
Advice can be given yet never received.
A stage theory attempts to find a boundary, where non exists.
Ignorance has no order, sequence or idea.
